Our specialised compost for cuttings and tissue culture

With our new Mr. Plants Magic Soil, we offer you a specially selected substrate mix for growing cuttings and tissue-culture plants.

The soil is deliberately low in nutrients, thereby creating the ideal conditions for young plants, which should initially focus on developing a strong root system.

The fine, loose texture ensures good aeration of the root zone and promotes a balanced supply of water and air. The perlite content further improves the texture and ensures good drainage.

🧪 Ingredients & Composition

The substrate mixture used consists, amongst other things, of:

75 % raised bog peat (H2–H5)

Perlite

GreenFibre® / Wood fibre

Coconut

NPK fertiliser with trace elements 0.5%

Magnesium and sulphur

Nitrogen (N): 60 mg/l

Phosphate (P₂O₅): 70 mg/l

Potassium (K₂O): 120 mg/l

Magnesium (Mg): 85 mg/l

Sulphur (S): 60 mg/l

Culture medium: pH approx. 5.5 (CaCl₂)
Salinity: approx. 0.5 g/l (KCl)

🌱 Designed for the growth phase

A balanced substrate that is not excessively nutrient-rich is particularly beneficial for cuttings and plants fresh from tissue culture. The loose structure, the perlite content and the moderate nutrient supply create a growing medium in which young plants can establish themselves optimally and develop a strong root system.
