The Philodendron El Choco Red is a unique and rare plant native to the humid forests of Ecuador. It belongs to the arum family and is known for its bright red leaves that turn a deep wine red over time.
The leaves of Philodendron El Choco Red are large and heart-shaped and can reach a length of up to 60 cm. The surface is glossy and the underside is often slightly hairy. The El Choco Red is popular not only because of its striking colour and size, but also because it is easy to care for. The plant only needs moderate light and should be watered regularly to keep the soil moist.
